-Who is Here Comes The Kraken? (band members)

-Can you tell the fans a little more about Here Comes The Kraken? Where are you guys originally from? and when did you guys start off?
The band started in 2008 in a city called Aguascalientes thats the hometown of the kraken, im the only one who is from another city, im from mexico city (alexa)
-Whats it like being a part of the Mexican metal scene?
Its great , Mexico has tons of metal fans
-I saw that you were a part of the Hate Across Europe Tour with Thy Art is Murder. How did that go for you guys?
We've been touring Europe one time a year since 2008 so by 2010 we started to talk with Avocado booking and then we signed with them in 2011 and then they got us into that tour, bigger things are coming in Europe :)
-Can you tell us a little about all the places you've toured?
We've toured Mexico and Europe only, Mexico is a crazy country since we've been involved in a war with drug cartels here, its pretty crazy and dangerous, we've seen tons of crazy stuff in the road and also in the most dangerous cities in our country, but what can we do? we need to tour, we have fans all over Mexico so we love to play for them, about Europe....compared to Mexico its disneyland haha its really cool to travel over there and have tons of shows, we love Europe!
-What song do you love playing live?
ISHAWTRCWBIKY from our first record :)
-Can you tell your fans what some of your hobbies are?
play station 3 all the time, listen to music all day amm what else, smoke weed! haha
-What are some of your musical inspirations?
PANTERA, DEFTONES, SLIPKNOT, KORN and NIN (alexa)
-What bands would you love to tour with someday?
DEFTONES , and from the modern metal i guess... FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, VOLUMES.. and a lot more! haha

-Also that tour with Veil of Maya, Structures, Northlane and Vildhjarta is looking AMAZING, and I believe this is your first US tour correct?
YES! its our first US tour! and we are FUCKING EXITED! weve been trying to play in the states since fucking 2008 , but the visas issue had been fucking us since that year... we signed recently to Outerloop management and they just saved our lives! haha now we are playing in the states and its just the beginning!!!!
-Can you tell us a little of what's in store for Here Comes the Kraken in the year 2013?
We are writing now our new record, we are doing a mexican tour in october, and then the US tour november december , after that we are going to the Machine shop studio to record our new album with Will Putney! we are fucking exited about that also :)
